Use this every day for so many months now. Every couple of months, apply mineral oil. Going great. It's the perfect size for quick jobs like slicing apples, avocado, etc.

I absolutely love the design of this cutting board! Just be prepared to put a bit of elbow grease into it to really bring out its beauty. The board arrived with somewhat rough surfaces and edges, so I sanded it down with very fine sandpaper (at least 220 or higher grit). It only took me about 10 minutes!Pro-tips for the perfect finish: Use a good paper towel or microfiber cloth to completely wipe off the wood powder, and run your hands over it to check for any remaining rough spots. Next, apply a food-grade wax or oil (like Walrus Oil Wood Wax for cutting boards). You'll want to reapply this periodically depending on how often you use the board. The design is obviously very cool.... the size is small to medium.So I have washed it and then I rubbed it with a nice mineral oil and let that sink in for a day or two before using it.Used it today for the first time and I'm happy with it!

Well made, thick cutting board. Visually very appealing and functional to boot. Very happy and would purchase again. I oil the board monthly to avoid it splitting, hand-wash and dry. Do this, and it will last years.

Beautiful, functional, and no nonsense. After spending 4 hours browsing cutting boards on Amazon I finally chose this and one other (scroll down for info.) I wanted a non-gimmicky hygienic functional board for cutting on. Specifically, I hate things like gutters, handles, little rubber feet, and anything else that could collect and harbor germs. This board is all that, and beautiful too! It's a good (smallish) size, it's reversible, and it's wooden. I have read somewhere that wood is actually better than plastic for your knives and sanitation, and bamboo is considered a good choice for many reasons.
