Exceptionally nice product for the money! These are heavy gauge steel and, literally, heavy to hold in hand. Stout enough to hold any equipment you can fit on them, they are a wonderful accessory for your 19-inch rack. The quality of the paint (powder coat?) finish is excellent and tolerances are spot on. I bought two and they looked fantastic when added to my small home-office rack assembly.Could not be happier and highly recommend for the price!

I built my own custom network rack out of wood and needed a shelf to hold my security system base console, modem, and router. This thing fit the bill and worked perfectly. Holds all three with zero problems. Was completely surprised when I felt the weight of the shelf. Way heavier than you would except for the price. When I installed it I pushed on it to see how much flex there was and it didn't budge. Really great shelf and will buy another if I need one. Its depth isn't that deep so you won't be putting anything big or heavy on this but if you need a shelf for some external hard drives or other smaller devices it works out great.

This is a basic item, just stamped, folded metal with a finish applied to it, but, well... It's a shelf, so not much to say. The gauge (thickness) of the metal is adequate to hold up audio/computer equipment. This is the slotted one, so that affects the strength slightly. Looks like they make one the same size that isn't slotted, so if I need a stronger one down the line, I would try that as well. The powdercoating on the one I got is flawless, and all the holes and slots are perfect with no bad bends or places anywhere on it. So overall I am giving it a five star becasue I have nothing to complain about. The box it came in was strong enough on its own to ship it in, but wholy cow the Amazon shipping department went overboard with an extra box over the first box, plus all sorts of plastic padding. I use two of these in my office to hold a couple of pieces of equipment that do no have a rackmount kit/option. The shelves work well in either up or down configuration. I like the fact that they are vented, which helps. I used one of the vents in the shelf to zip tie the bulky power supply for the ancient router we are using in one case to the rack next to the device.Build-quality and paint job is good, feels sturdy. In my case the pre-drilled holes lined up well with my rack.

A quality 1u rack tray. Strong construction that will withstand a lot of weight. Utilizes four hole mounting and has ventilation slots. Paint is good, not that cheap crap that chips and flakes off with the smallest damage. I am currently utilizing this product as a tray for a DSL modem and my wireless router. Cleans up my components that wouldn't otherwise fit in my racks. I really wish I had these several years ago when doing d.j. work. Could easily combine two of these and a 2u fan plate for good cooling and a clean rack appearance.All in all another great product for a reasonable price. Raxxess will definitely be seeing more of my business.
